Challenge Number 8 & 9

He Who Dares Wins and A Soundclash

This is it, the past 7 challenges are out the window, at 11 o clock it is a race to the final.

First of all its the return of He Who Dares Wins, myself and Mark will be daring Fused to do something, but first they  dare us to do something, thats in the first hour.

 Then in the second hour it is what we do best play records, however with a twist. It is a head to head battle to the end, as we flex our musical muscles to see who is the better DJ's

Challenge Number 7

"Pub Quiz" Wednesday 14th May

When I say pub you say quiz; PUB......

Thats right, this week the boys took part in a sublime pub quiz organsied by the one and only Robbie Scott (of Jame on toast) himself. Sam and Mark were determined this week to come away with a crucial point to keep them in the chase for the title of challenge champions; but with Fused already 2 points ahead, the future looked bleak for the happy chappies.

Fused took an early lead, taking advantage of Sam and Marks early mistakes to go 8-4 up, and then 11-7 up at the end of the topics round. Despite serious hard work and determination on sam and marks half, they were unable to catch the Fused boys who eventually won the quiz 15-12.

Now, with the score at 5-2; Sam and Mark are unnable to win with only 1 challenge remaining.

Challenge Number 6

"Penalty Shoot-out" Wednesday 7th May

After careful planning from Mark, the boys have (finally) participated in a penalty shootout. With Sam and Mark trailing 2-3 at the start, it was a must win situation, or the fused boys will run away with it.

Alex brought the football, and with 2 make-shift posts, the shoot-out began; beginning with alex in goal and sam shooting. After a truley tense and nail-biting 20 minutes (for the listeners and the competitors) the boys return to studio "pleased with their perfomances". Mark won save of the day and Sam sportsman of the day, but these were alas only consolation prizes as Fused ran away with the challenge win! The shoot-out went to sudden death, and after alex scored the first, it was down to mark to keep them in the game. Unfortunatly his football skills were not up to the high standards of the Fused boys. Now, with the score at 4-2 and Sam and Mark not winning in 3 challenges, the future is looking good for Fused.

Challenge Number 5

"Muller Rice Eat-off" Wednesday 30th April

After discovering the free Muller Rice giveaway today in the union; the boys have decided to have an "eat-off" to see who can consume the most amount of this refreshing food. With the scores currently at 2-2, its all to play for in this exciting challenge.

"Scrabble" Wednesday 23rd April

Today the boys are playing Scrabble. Make sure you tune in from 11am to hear all the latest.

Challenge Number 3

"The Ravlin Challenge" Wednesday 16th April

Today at 2pm, the Challenge will take place. The Sam and Mark Show, vs Fused.

There is long time rivalry between these two shows, ever since the Isle of Wight Pub Crawl last week. (Well a week is a long time at Pure FM)

Make Sure that you listen in to Sam and Mark today, (Wednesday between 11am - 1pm), and then Fused at 1pm - 3pm this afternoon.

It all started as a friendly game of Fusball, then things escalated, and after Sam and Mark lost at Fusball, they needed to boost their profile a little, so they challenged Fused to Pool.

The challenges so far have been "Fusball", and "Pool".

Today, the boys will be doing a relay race around Ravlin Park. Make sure you listen to Pure FM from 2pm to hear all the action LIVE!

To make the day even more interesting, it has just been revealed the Sam has Asthma.
